A Wedding to Remember: The Banks’ Rescheduled Celebration After

As a wedding photographer, I’ve learned that every wedding has its own unique story, but some stand out in a way you’ll never forget. The Banks’ wedding was one of those. Originally planned for September 28, 2024 in Western North Carolina, their big day had to be rescheduled when Hurricane Helene made an unexpected and devastating impact. While the storm may have disrupted their plans, it could never dampen the love and joy that surrounded them.
A Change of Plans, But Not of Heart
When I first heard the news that the Banks’ wedding had to be postponed due to the hurricane, my heart sank for them. Weddings take months—sometimes years—to plan, and having to put everything on hold because of something entirely out of their control was heartbreaking. But from the moment they reached out to reschedule, I knew their story was going to be one of resilience and love. Through all the uncertainty, they handled everything with grace, and the love and support from their family and friends made it clear that no storm could overshadow their happiness.
The Perfect Autumn Day
When the new wedding date finally arrived, it felt like the universe was making up for lost time. The skies were clear, the crisp autumn air had just the right amount of warmth, and the golden hues of fall made for the most breathtaking backdrop. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement buzzing in the air. The couple was glowing—relieved that their day had finally come, but also filled with so much joy and love for each other.
